After immigrating to a new country four years ago, she had to adjust to a new education system and culture. Navigating cultural differences and experiencing bullying tested her resilience. At the same time, she supported her younger brother, who has autism and is pre-diabetic, contributing to both emotional and financial pressures within her family. Despite these obstacles, Isabelle remained focused on her academics and leadership commitments. Receiving the scholarship validated her perseverance, especially after facing rejection from several other scholarship opportunities earlier in the year.
